Our lounge is filled with led lights that strobe from time to time. Please note that this may trigger seizures in those who have photosensitive epilepsy. Please be guided accordingly.

 

What are the age requirements?

This varies as children are all different. Typically children 5 years and older are able to participate in some if not all of our experiences. Sometimes however, they may need to be assisted by their guardian.

Is there an entry fee?

No.

I’ve never tried Virtual Reality… is it safe?

Short answer… Yes. However they are instances where VR can make one dizzy or nauseous. If you begin to experience any of these symptoms please let the attendant know immediately.

Can I wear my glasses during a Virtual Reality Session?

Yes.

Do I need a license to drive the simulators?

No you silly whabbit!

Is this a safe space for children?

Whapaxx Gaming is a ‘Family First ‘ establishment. All gaming content and experiences are family friendly as well as our store environment. Abusive language is not allowed. Good conduct and respect for others is expected. Persons who do not uphold our family first values will be asked to leave.

Are children required to be supervised by an adult/guardian?

Yes. All children under the age of 16 are required to have a parent or guardian present. Identification maybe required in specific cases.

Are reservations mandatory?

Reservations are not mandatory. WALK-INS are welcome.

Should I schedule my sessions in advance?

Whenever possible this is recommended. Not only does it avoid disappointment but it’s convenient. Skip the lines and guarantee your spot… Reserve here. Please note reservations must be made at least three (3) days in advance.

What if I’m late for my scheduled session?

A grace period of 5 minutes is granted. After this your session is cancelled. 25% of the fee will be forfeited and the remainder refunded via the original form of payment.

How do I get a Game Card?

Game Cards can be obtained online via your respective App Store. We’ve created direct links on our website here.

I’m in a group. Do we need multiple Game Cards?

While this is not a requirement it is recommended. However… if you’re visiting as a group and would rather use one Game Card this is permitted.

Can I share my game time with a friend?

While we applaud your willingness to share this is generally not allowed. However, they are some experiences that your friend can chip in.

Can I play against/versus my friends in multiplayer?

YES! We support multiplayer, each one with their own individual screen for up to 6 players on select experiences. These experiences will be clearly labeled on our website in the Pricing/Game List section.

I have a Legacy Game Card. Are my credits lost when I upgrade to the new app?

Not at all! As we said in the beginning… your credits never expire . On your subsequent visit to the gaming center after upgrading to the Whapaxx Gaming App our staff will aid in the transfer of your legacy Game Card credits.

I have some left over credits from my last visit. How long are they valid?

Credits do not expire and as such you can use them as long as we remain in business.

How long is each gaming session?

Sessions are typically 15 minutes in length. However you can increase this up to 1 hour for single sessions. Sessions exceeding 1 hour are not allowed so as to accommodate as many persons as possible. If you require more time please explore our Private Sessions.

How often is the equipment cleaned?

Our store undergoes a general clean once per week. In between experiences, where applicable, equipment is cleaned before use e.g VR headsets

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept all major Credit, Master and Visa debit cards inclusive of American Express, Discover & Diners Club International. Cash is not accepted.

Can we utilise the space for a private event?

Yes. We cater for school excursions, team building and private events. View our packages or get in touch for a customized option.

Can I use my own headphones?

For sessions (1) hour or more use of your personal headset is permitted. Requests for use of personal headsets during sessions that do not meet this requirement will be denied.

Delivery of Goods and Services

If you do not receive the digital product link upon purchasing, you can immediately contact info@whapaxxgaming.com with your transaction/payment details to ensure your product is delivered as soon as possible.

Whapaxx Gaming reserves the right to amend any information, including but not limited to prices, technical specifications, terms of purchase or service offerings without prior notice.

Refund Policy

We stand behind our products and services and your satisfaction with them is important to us. However, because our products are digital goods delivered via Internet download we generally offer no refunds. If you change your mind about your purchase and you have not downloaded our product or used it we will happily issue you a refund upon your request. Refund requests made after you have downloaded our product or purchased a service are handled on a case by case basis and are issued at our sole discretion. Refund requests, if any, must be made within (7) days of your original purchase via info@whapaxxgaming.com or by telephone (246) 251-4181. All refunds will be processed and issued to the same payment method used during purchasing.
